Mehrshad Vafaei was born on 25 February 1986 in Tehran, Iran. He is a vocalist, player, songwriter, and lyricist. His main instrument is the guitar and his main genre is Country. He was inspired by music by some great musicians such as David Gilmour and Brad Paisley. Saeid Rahnama and Farbod Majzoob were his first guitar instructors.

Mehrshad in his adolescence suffered from visual impairment and he has become blind gradually later. Due to his strong passion for music mostly country music, he started learning music academically and he received bachelor of music in 2014.
In his journey to Baku, Azerbaijan, he participated in Hafez Bakhisheli’s master class about Blues music.

Mehrshad has already a lot of performances in Iran and abroad. Most of them were in Iran and some of them were abroad such as:
.Bucharest, Craiova, Bacau in Romania
.Baku the capital of Azerbaijan. He won the best country band prize in “Shamsa music festival” in Baku in 2012.

His first album was released in 2019 which is called ‘From Loot Desert to Arizona’.
